The Challenge:

  • Arctic Basecamp’s board agreed the need to establish a new US based entity (Climate Basecamp) as a sister brand.
  • The climate campaign charity based in Amsterdam needed to raise awareness of the impact of Global warming and wanted to highlight this through cultural references
  • With deadlines tight the organisation needed a business plan for the entity
  • A launch plan for the organisation o coincide with NY Climate Week
  • The development of a fundraising plan to flow from the launch aimed at US based grant making foundations
  • Duration of the project 2 days per week over 6 weeks.

Solution and Delivery

  • Created Business Strategy and campaign plan for funders and US based fiscal sponsors.
  • Researched and developed a shareable budget for the business plan.
  • Enabled Climate Basecamp campaign planning to be managed by shared resource at Arctic Basecamp for smooth delivery.
  • Supported launch campaign deliverables across PR, design, production, video reel and sponsorship.
  • Created a sponsorship agreement template aligning to the climate goals of the organisation.
  • Managed the delivery of a full business plan.
  • Created strategy for development of cultural strands including food, fashion, sport, music and entertainment.
  • Supported by the work of appointed design agency Moon Rabbit for launch campaign, developed a funding proposal for presentation by Founders Rainn Wilson, Chuck Tatham and Gail Whiteman.
